Abstract

Penelitian ini ingin melihat bagaimana motif pengakses E Commerce Shopee di Pulau Jawa dalam memanfaatkan Shopee sebagai Media Belanja Online. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan interaksi pengguna di aplikasi shopee bahwa pengguna saat mengonsumsi media, merasa bahwa media tersebut mampu memenuhi kebutuhan atau keinginan tertentu dalam hidup mereka. Menggunakan metode penelitian Kuantitatif Survey, dengan variable motif, peneliti ingin melihat bagaimana motif pengguna aplikasi shopee saat memanfaatkan aplikasi shopee untuk belanja online. Hasilnya urutan motif penggunaan Shopee dimulai dari yang paling dominan hingga yang terendah adalah motif identitas pribadi, diikuti oleh hiburan, kemudian informasi dan pengetahuan, serta yang terakhir adalah motif interaksi sosial.
