Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan profitabilitas sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2020-2022 berjumlah 42 perusahaan. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan metode pengambilan sampel tersebut diperoleh sebanyak 29 perusahaan sub sektor makanan dan minuman. Penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dan sobel test untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas, struktur modal berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan namun bersifat negatif, profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan profitabilitas tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan.
