Abstract

Utilization of Accounting Information in Decision Making to Maintain Business Sustainability Tanggal masuk 12-08-2024 Purpose: This research aims to investigate how a bakery uses accounting information for decision-making to sustain its business. Method: Qualitative exploratory approach via interviews, observations, and documentation. Results: The qualitative characteristics of accounting information that are considered useful for the bakery are timeliness and summarization. Apart from the use of accounting information, the bakery’s decision making is also based on experience and authority. Novelty: Explores accounting information in decision-making using qualitative methods. Contribution: Enhances understanding of how accounting information aids decision-making for business sustainability.
