Abstract

This research aims to map mompreneur's small micro enterprises (MSEs) in 3 sub-districts in Magetan Regency (Karangrejo, Lembeyan, and Poncol). The research method was conducted with a direct survey of respondents using questionnaire instruments and data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The results found that 69% of the business types of 209 MSEs surveyed were trading businesses and the majority of the capital used was own capital (96%). Judging by the number of workers most MSEs have a workforce of 1-2 people, and the problems faced are the problems of marketing reach, competition, access to capital, and human resources. This research has limitations, namely MSEs mapping is only done in 3 sub-districts while other sub-districts have not been involved, so it is recommended for further research can be done mapping in other sub-districts in Magetan Regency which also have MSEs that can be developed. With the results of msme mapping owned by mompreneur in the 3 sub-districts, it can be an input for the Office of Women Empowerment, Family Planning and Child Protection of Magetan District in developing an economic empowerment program for self-employed women in the region to grow.
