Abstract
The primary goal of the materials in this book is to improve students’ integrated language skills through meaningful and value-based content. The reading component helps students read texts fluently, comprehend main ideas and details, and reflect on the humanitarian values embedded in the texts. Meanwhile, the writing component supports students in expressing their thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences through guided writing tasks. Writing activities are supported by vocabulary development, grammar practice, and pronunciation awareness, enabling students to articulate their ideas clearly and thoughtfully while strengthening overall language accuracy. Furthermore, the listening and speaking components aim to help students understand spoken texts, participate in discussions, and express their ideas orally through interactive activities such as group discussions, question-and-answer sessions, short presentations, and role plays. These activities encourage students to communicate actively, share opinions, and respond to real-life situations related to humanitarian themes. To support teachers, this book provides clear theoretical explanations of teaching integrated language skills at the A2 level, presented in a practical and accessible manner. Additionally, this book offers ready-to-use mini lesson plans that help teachers design effective and time-efficient lessons. These mini lesson plans are adaptable to different classroom contexts, allowing teachers to focus more on interaction, communication, and value formation while maintaining systematic and meaningful English instruction.
